Corrective Lighting Filters
With modern lighting individuals are often experiencing eye strain and headaches caused by bright lights either in offices, schools etc. Many of these new lighting systems offer substantial savings in running costs but often at the expense of discomfort to those that have to work in the environment.
Transformation tubes corrective filter sleeves are the answer, they are simple to install and can reduce glare and ultra violet transmission. The clear ultra violet filters reduce the u/v emission by 99% and do not change the actual appearance of the light being emitted.
The sleeves for reducing lighting glare are available in three grades. Filter 209 reduces light emission by 1 light stop (25%), Filter 210/N reduces light emission by 2 light stops (50%) and 211/N by 3 light stops (75%) approximately. Each can be further enhanced to also reduce 99% of ultra violet emissions, thus creating an ideal working environment. To order both light reduction and uv reduction in one filter sleeve simply order the number of uv sleeves and a corresponding number of light stop sleeves. These will then be manufactured with the uv sleeve first and the light reduction overlaying the uv filter.
